Deep on the marine floor, there is no sunlight yet life prevails. I am both fascinated and terrified by the idea. I wrote "Where the Light Blooms" to tell a tale about two siblings realizing the people in power have abandoned them and left them to die in an alien world. The two characters, Abbi and Leo, bear a lot of resemblance to myself and my own sister. 

Veles is a world of darkness, but it is also a world of beauty. And if you look for it, I'm certain you'll find a little bit of light in everything.
